Peter is a career retailer with over 30 years of retailing experience at senior executive and Board level with Grace Bros, Franklins and Millers Retail.
Peter was Merchandise and Marketing Director at Franklins up until 2000 and started the Liquor Save chain for the group. He has also served on the executive of the Retail Traders Association of Victoria, the Australian Supermarket Institute and the Grocery Industry Supply Chain Committee.

Margaret holds more than 20 years experience at senior executive and Board level, with 19 of those with Mars Incorporated, and for 4 of those as CEO of Mars Food, formerly Masterfoods. Margaret is well known and respected in the FMCG industry and was actively involved with the Australian Food and Grocery Council, serving on sub committees such as the Supply Chain group.

Geoff has a background in accounting and during his 21 years with the Bartter Enterprises Poultry Group was the CEO and a Director. Bartter Enterprises was the second largest chicken and turkey producer and marketer in Australia. A business with a turnover of $35 million in 1987 grew into one in excess of $900 million in 2008. In 2005, Geoff implemented a business improvement program that targeted and achieved annual cost reductions of over $20 million for each of the following three years.
Geoff is a consultant to major blue chip FMCG companies in the area of total business improvement.
JOHN DAY

With a reputation for strategic thinking and a realistic approach John has had more than 25 years of General Management and Senior Management experience in blue chip companies such as National Foods, Simplot, Mars Confectionery, Masterfoods, Uncle Bens and Bowater Scott. He has held General Manager roles across a number of functional streams including Sales (all Channels), Marketing, Distribution and International and Domestic Business Development. In addition he was General Manager of National Foods Milk Operation (Victoria) and on the Board of Management with Simplot, heading up the Shelf Stable Division with brands including Leggos, Edgell, and Plumrose.
John is a consultant in total business optimisation, as part of the Business Structure & Process Change team.
LEE McALLISTAIR
Project Manager – Research, Market Strategy
Lee holds ten years’ experience in the research, development and implementation of consumer and customer-driven market strategies across a breadth of sectors including FMCG, retail, primary resources, franchising, property, tourism, foodservice, health, professional services, entertainment & leisure, and retail media.
Her focus is on achieving differentiation versus competitors – zagging when everyone else zigs. She also specialises in asking people what they think by conducting quality trade and key customer research before companies invest time and money in new initiatives.
